AMD helps empower people to live more productive lives, not only through the power of its products, but also through the power of its employee volunteers, AMD Community Corps. Every year, hundreds of AMD employees give their time, brains, and talents to help improve the neighborhoods where they live and work.
AMD recently launched AMD Community Corps Connect, an interactive employee volunteerism and giving website. Employees have the opportunity to connect and network with fellow AMD employees to volunteer together, make charitable contributions and request a match all in the same tool.

AMD hosted its second annual Global Volunteer Month in October 2011. This month-long campaign encourages AMD employees around the world to reach out and help their communities through company-sponsored volunteer activities. More than 500 employees from 16 sites volunteered more than 1,500 hours at 45 charitable events.
