AMD Executives 

Rory Read is president and chief executive officer of AMD and also serves on the company’s board of directors. Prior to joining AMD in August 2011, Read served as president and chief operating officer of Lenovo Group, Ltd. He previously spent 23 years at IBM serving in various global leadership roles.

Chekib Akrout is the senior vice president and business transformation officer for AMD, helping to drive company-wide alignment to ensure AMD’s structures, processes and IT systems enable the business to achieve both short- and long-term business objectives. Prior to joining AMD, Akrout worked at Freescale Semiconductor as vice president and general manager of the Networking System Division where he focused on networking multi-core and Digital Signal Processing, driving processor competitiveness in the networking markets.

John Byrne is Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. He is responsible for ensuring that AMD’s worldwide sales organization remains responsive to customer needs while further driving the adoption of AMD innovations by global technology providers. He has more than two decades of experience in the IT industry, including leadership roles in technology sales and marketing.

Darrell L. Ford is senior vice president and chief human resources officer, where he is responsible for leading all areas of AMD's human resources function, which includes an ongoing effort to align the company's global employee population around a culture of commitment to help create enhanced value for AMD customers and shareholders.

Colette LaForce is senior vice president and chief marketing officer, responsible for leading global integrated marketing for AMD. Prior to joining the company in May 2012, LaForce served as global vice president and chief marketing officer of Dell Services, the approximately $8 billion IT services business unit of Dell Inc.

Rajan Naik is senior vice president and chief strategy officer, reporting to president and chief executive officer Rory Read. Prior to joining AMD in January 2012, he was a Partner in McKinsey & Company’s high-tech practice.

Mark Papermaster is senior vice president and chief technology officer for AMD. He is responsible for AMD’s engineering, research and development (R&D) and product development organization.

Devinder Kumar is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AMD. Kumar is responsible for the company’s global finance organization as well as global corporate services and facilities.

Dr. Lisa Su is senior vice president and general manager, global business units, reporting to president and chief executive officer Rory Read.

Harry A. Wolin is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for AMD. In this role, Harry has responsibility for the corporation’s worldwide legal matters, corporate investigations and public affairs, including government relations, community relations and corporate responsibility.
