​Radeon ProRender is a powerful physically-based rendering engine that enables creative professionals to produce stunningly photorealistic images. Built on highly efficient, high-performance Radeon Rays technology, Radeon ProRender’s complete, scalable ray tracing engine uses open industry standards to harness GPU and CPU performance for swift, impressive results.

 

Physically-Correct Material

The Radeon ProRender engine features an extensive native physically-based material and camera system to enable true design decisions with global illumination, including caustics.

Balances GPU and CPU Compute

Unlike other renderers, Radeon ProRender can simultaneously use and balance the compute capabilities of multiple GPUs and CPUs – on the same system, at the same time – and deliver state-of-the-art GPU acceleration to produce rapid, accurate results even on less-capable hardware.

Fast and Accurate

Radeon ProRender’s powerful combination of multiple OS- and hardware-compatibility, rendering capabilities and efficiency helps drastically reduces the time required to deliver true-to-life images.

Uses Open Standards

Because it’s built on industry-standard OpenCL™, Radeon ProRender works across Windows®, Mac OS™, and Linux®1, and supports AMD GPUs and CPUs as well as those of other vendors.

The freely available and distributable Radeon ProRender SDK (soon to be open source) is available on GPUOpen.com, and provides a C++ library which allows for easy porting into applications wherever a fast, high-quality renderer is needed.

Free Radeon ProRender plug-ins are currently available for many popular 3D content-creation applications, including Autodesk® 3ds Max® and Autodesk® Maya®.

Meet Radeon ProRender, our fast, free, physically-based renderer for Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2016 Service Pack 3 and 3ds Max® 2017. It’s an easy to use, physically accurate renderer you can use to render anything from VR to nature to mechanical designs to architectural visualizations. Radeon ProRender is fully integrated into 3ds Max®, meaning you can use its existing maps, materials, and lights. After switching to Radeon ProRender in Render Settings, all you’ll need to do is tweak your materials or lighting setup where needed.

Like its plug-in siblings, it’s an easy to use, physically accurate renderer you can use to render anything from game characters to VR content The Radeon ProRender plugin is fully integrated into Maya; it supports real-time changes to the scene and built-in rendering information. It supports Maya lights, materials, and textures, and renders your geometry accurately. Radeon ProRender also comes with a library of materials to get you started.
