Fnatic’s Tips for Selecting PC Components

1. Be sure the parts you select are compatible.

For example, you don't want to end up with a GPU that doesn’t fit into the case or to buy DDR3 ram for a DDR4 machine.

2. Do MoBo and GPU have the ports you need in order to get all your shiny peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headset) and 144Hz monitors (DisplayPort or DVI) hooked up smoothly?

3. Don't only look at the stickers on prebuilt pcs, look at the specs too.

4. Make sure you have enough RAM for what you are setting out to do.

For example, streaming has higher requirements than gaming without streaming your game play.

5. Don't think you can survive without an SSD; it makes a huge difference.
