Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Colette LaForce is senior vice president and chief marketing officer, responsible for leading global integrated marketing for AMD. She is chartered with driving purchase preference for AMD solutions globally through an integrated marketing strategy that includes brand management, demand creation programs, digital engagement, media relations, events, reputation management, employee communications and ROI measurement.
Prior to joining AMD in May 2012, LaForce served as global vice president and chief marketing officer of Dell Services, the approximately $8 billion IT services business unit of Dell Inc. During her four years at Dell, LaForce also held global leadership roles in product marketing, corporate communications, regional marketing and supporting the Office of the CEO.
LaForce spent nearly a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area serving in marketing leadership roles for emerging enterprise and consumer technology companies, and helped lead challenger brand Rackable Systems (now SGI) to a successful IPO in 2005. She began her career as a software programmer at Accenture.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
