Élan™SC520 CDP General Software BIOS

The General Software Embedded BIOS ported to the Elan™SC520 Customer Development Platform. This version of the BIOS supports PCI video cards when using A1 silicon.
This CodeKit includes a binary image of the BIOS and a reflash utility which can be used to update the CDP flash.

This revision of the BIOS now sets the SC520 CPU speed according to the selection in the BIOS setup screen. It also disables caching of the flash memory by default.

This version of the BIOS fixes a problem that occurred while configuring the SuperI/O’s COM ports. Intermittently, one of the two UARTs would be configured for ASK IR communication, while they should have been configured for Normal communication.
