CAD-UL XDB Simulator for Protected Mode

URL: http://www.cadul.com

The CAD-UL XDB Simulator allows developers write, compile, download, and debug code when a target board is either not available, limited in quantities, or when it is not technically possible to connect a debugger to the target for testing purposes.

Company Information
CAD-UL, Inc.: Founded in 1984, CAD-UL is recognized as the industry leader in embedded software development tools for the x86 family of processors.

· XDB Simulator supports handling of device simulators. Users can select the appropriate device simulator for their application within XDB and select different test-environments with a simple mouse click.
· XDB Simulator's debugger provides an I/O console for device simulation. With the XDB debugger, users can generate data from a virtual device as input for their application and display values to check if their application is sending the right data to their peripheral device.
· XDB Simulator supports memory mapping. The XDB Simulator's debugger allows users to define the memory space that is required to run their application with a simulator.
· XDB Simulator supports application context. By using XDB Simulator, users are not required to write start up code to test some application modules. XDB Simulator provides users a way to use TSS and the script language within XDB to set their application context.
