The Module SC104 contains an AMD Élan™SC400 CPU with clock speeds up to 99 MHz, up to 16 MByte DRAM onboard (Extensible with SO-DIMM DRAM Modules up to 48 MByte), up to 8MByte Flash onboard (extensible up to 32 MByte with Flash SO-DIMM Modules).

The Module SC104 contains as well 512KByte SRAM with onboard lithium battery backup, 3 serial and 2 parallel ports, keyboard and mouse controller, floppy and IDE harddisk controller, connector for LCD and application specific usable port lines. It containes a PC/104 Connector and needs only 5V. All other voltages are generated on board. Depending on the assembled connector option the module allows either a stand-alone function (right angle connectors on the upper side) with directly connected flatcable outlets or it can be used with an application specific base board (connectors straight on the lower side like PC/104 connector).
