Datalight provides a full development environment, complete with Borland Turbo Assembler and Paradigm DEBUG and LOCATE. The Datalight BIOS is 100-percent compatible with the desktop BIOS standard and meets the needs of embedded and mobile systems. Datalight offers complete BIOS porting services through a dedicated Solutions Engineering Group. The Datalight BIOS is small in size; from 8KB to 24KB
and will auto-detect the number and type of hard and floppy disk drives as well as memory type.
Setup can be built-in to the BIOS image or can be stand-alone.
Complete BIOS source code is provided, allowing for modification of any BIOS function. The Datalight BIOS features a "Fast-Boot" feature for booting an operating system in as little as 2 seconds. In addition, "Dark-Boot" will allow developers to remove or customize the BIOS sign on screen.

Keyboardssupport via serial port, XT keyboard adapter, AT keyboard, matrix keyboard (auto detected).
Video support provided for VGA, MDA, various size LCDs, serial video (video is autodectected).
