Nucleus FILE provides a full set of standard file I/O operations such as create, open, read, write, seek, delete, as well as a full set of directory features. Nucleus FILE is re-entrant and supports real-time features such as isolated portions of the disk for directory management as well as the ability to read and write contiguous files. Together, these features provide for a fast and efficient file I/O capability which will produce fully MS-DOS compatible file output.
