Established since 1984, AMD Singapore offers a high value-added back-end manufacturing environment for the company's microprocessor. A premier test center for microprocessors and technical & operations engineering services. It’s total facility located at Chai Chee Lane occupies a total area of 594,000 square feet including 469,000 square feet production.
Over the years, AMD Singapore has experienced tremendous expansion in its capabilities, enabling its operation to emerge as one of great importance in AMD's global Manufacturing and Product Development operations today.
Strategically located, AMD Singapore actively taps into the large pool of talented human capital from the region. Today, it employs more than 2000 employees in its highly sophisticated and efficient Manufacturing Operations, Product Engineering, Testing and Packaging production environments. It is also equipped with high-end engineering laboratories that support Device Analysis, Reliability Testing, Surface Mount Board Assembly Evaluations, Packaging Characterization, Platform Validation and Hardware Debug. AMD Singapore also provides regional support to AMD Operations and Customers in Asia Pacific region to deliver quality, productive and customer centric solutions and new product introductions.
AMD Singapore became ISO 9002 certified in 1992, ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001/ OHSAS18001 certified in 2000 and awarded Singapore Quality Class in 2004.
