LSI Logic Fusion-MPT Architecture Will Support AMD Technology For 64-Bit, Robust Performance Solutions
LSI Logic Ultra320 SCSI and Fibre Channel products combine with upcoming AMD Opteron™ processors in enterprise-class server and workstation platforms
MILPITAS, Calif -- El 16 de Enero de 2003 --LSI Logic (NYSE: LSI) announced today that its Fusion-MPT™ (Message Passing Technology) architecture will support AMD’s x86-64 computing environment and the upcoming AMD Opteron™ and AMD Athlon™ 64 processors . The Fusion-MPT architecture provides a single, robust driver that supports implementations of Ultra320 SCSI and Fibre Channel products.
