AMD Motion For Leave To Serve Document Preservation Subpoenas Granted By U.S. District Court
– Delaware Court Affirms AMD’s Right to Document Preservation –
SUNNYVALE, CA -- El 3 de Julio de 2005 --AMD (NYSE: AMD) announced today that its Motion for Leave to Serve Document Preservation Subpoenas filed on July 1st 2005 as part of the litigation AMD v. Intel was granted by the United States District Court of Delaware shortly after it was filed.
The motion sought a judicial order permitting AMD to move forward to preserve relevant evidence that is in the possession of specified third-parties. In light of the judicial order, AMD’s counsel will engage in discussions with 30 third-parties in an effort to implement the order so as to preserve evidence while imposing on them as little an administrative burden as possible.
