AMD & the Future of Formula One Racing
|
AMD has been involved in Formula One since the beginning of 2002, making our mark as a true technology leader by partnering with the world's top organizations and providing the solutions that help them achieve their goals.
In addition, AMD is now the Technology Partner of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the international non-profit organization concerned with automotive, motoring and mobility issues and the governing body of world motorsports. AMD will lend technology expertise across a range of activities in the automotive and motorsports sectors and provide technological counsel as the FIA formulates automotive public policies and regulations for motorsports. AMD will provide computing solutions, including server, desktop and mobile systems based on AMD64 technology to the FIA to support race control, Web site hosting, and data management at Formula One races worldwide.
