Tamper-Evident Sealing Label

Two tamper-evident sealing labels with industrial strength adhesive and holographic labels are used to seal both openings of the PIB package. Tamper proof seals will physically reveal if tampering has occurred.

• Integrated Izon Holograms : Incorporate the best hologram technology in the industry and our AMD “1-2-3-4” authentication campaign into the security label.
• Raised Tactile Intaglio Printing: Industry leading technology used to give customers tactile way to “feel” if the label is authentic. This can be found in the lower portion of each label.
• Multi - Shade/Shape Green Background: Varying color and shape in background with overlapping design and shapes make it easy to authenticate.

Serial Number Label

This serial number label is located on the top end of the PIB packaging. Each serial number is a unique 13-digit alphanumeric number which helps AMD and its customers track PIB distribution and verify product authenticity for warranty service. Both labels shown here are valid.

Holographic Label

The number of dots on one side of the 3-D AMD logo will change when you tip the holographic label up, down, left and right.

Starting mid-2004, the holographic label on AMD PIB packaging should appear a gold color with a dimension of 19mm x 15mm. Earlier versions may be different.
