AMD Geode™ SC1200/1201 Processor and DBSC1200™ Development Board

The SC1200/1201 processor is a member of the AMD Geode™ family of fully
integrated x86 system devices. The SC1200/1201 processor includes an AMD Geode™ GX1
32-bit x86 compatible processor module, a TV video processor (TV, TFT, and CRT
outputs), video input port, video output port, core logic, and a Super I/O block.
Additionally, the SC1201 processor has Macrovision copy protection. All these
features, combined with a small form factor and low power consumption, result
in an ideal choice for the heart of an advanced set-top box.

End of Life: Last time orders for the AMD Geode™ Single Chip processors (i.e., SC1200/SC1201, SC2200, and SC3200) in the 481-BGU package will be accepted through July 30, 2007 and last time shipments will be completed by February 28, 2008. (The 432-BGD package end of life had previously been end announced on September 15, 2005.) For new designs, please consider the AMD Geode™ LX processor or the AMD Geode™ GX processor.

Full integration with AMD Geode Solutions technologies, low power requirements and design flexibility help reduce costly time-to-market and enable more effective, efficient embedded designs.
