    Field Sales Coordinator



    AMD SpA in Milan is searching for a Field Sales Coordinator

    Specific requirements: Strong Computer skills, detail oriented and fluent in English.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Description: Responsible for the day-to-day management of customer orders and inquiries acting as the primary point of contact for your customer base.

    Order Entry and Order Management

    • Manage incoming customer purchase orders on a timely basis; check PO’s for accurate pricing and special requests
    • Entering orders as required
    • Ensuring orders have commits within 48 hours
    • Providing delivery/tracking info as needed
    • Providing shipment and open order reports as needed
    • Interface with the customer for order management issues
    Understand AMD terms and conditions for orders, delivery terms, leadtime and RMA’s.

    Communicate directly with the customer on order fulfillment issues and queries as well as directly with AMD Sales teams in the field.

    Manage and minimize customer order past dues, including problem identification, root cause analysis and resolution.

    Understand and monitor product transitions (version changes, memory changes, EOL), ensuring the customer is ordering the correct product and is aware of any upcoming changes or EOL products.

    Manage and maintain customer database to ensure contact information is accurate and up to date.

    Help identify opportunities from inbound calls and pass on to the Sales Person.

    The individual will be required to gain and maintain extensive SAP knowledge.

    Samples

    Maintain and update sample request backlog.
    Follow up with BU’s for timely sample delivery.
    Support the sample delivery by generating necessary documents if needed.

    Sales Support

    Identify and monitor the product transitions like revision change, substrate change, memory change, FAB change, packaging change, EOL, ensuring that the customer is ordering the correct product and is aware of any upcoming changes.
    Understand AMD overall supply status and raise flag for potential supply situation.

    Extended Responsibilities:

    Description: Identifying and satisfying your OEM or Distis sales team and OEM or Disti customer needs.

    Forecast

    Obtain updated forecast from customer on a monthly or as needed basis.
    Understand special promotions and life cycle of the product that may cause inventory levels to change.
    Monitor replenishment order fill to forecast and highlight any discrepancies for resolution.

    Sales Support

    Maintain and update product p/n list for all of the products shipping into related accounts.
    Maintain and update pricing files for all OEM solutions.
    Closely monitor the supply status for low run rate products and dedicate products for related accounts.
    Closely monitor the status of new and ramping products,. With FAE’s and Sales person

    Generate SAP reports as required.
    Understand and enforce terms and conditions (Standard Terms and Conditions where customer-specific terms and conditions don’t exist).

    Inventory

    Understanding inventory levels at customer location and using this information to predict possible changes in demand (up/down) to help ensure customers are ordering enough of the correct product etc.

    Customer Incentives Support

    Maintain customer rebate analysis and requests.
    Generate shipping reports, as required.
    Validate customer claim with account managers.
    Resolve data discrepancies with account managers and customers.
