Charles Clark is the Director of Global Manufacturing Services (GMS) for AMD with global responsibility for the design, development and implementation of manufacturing systems and automation capabilities within AMD’s wafer fab and assembly operations.
Charles has held numerous management positions during his 27-year industry tenure and his 15-year tenure with AMD. Prior to joining AMD, Clark worked for both National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments in numerous management positions in both manufacturing and systems support roles. He obtained a BS in Business Administration and Management from the University of Southeastern Oklahoma in 1978 with additional Masters Degree Studies in Business and Computer Science.
Charles has a broad range of experience in the area of manufacturing systems and automation with its application to high-volume semiconductor fabrication. Clark has contributed numerous articles to manufacturing systems publications over the course of his career.
