RoHS Compatible Single Board Computer (SBC) From WIN Enterprises Features Energy Efficient CPU
Low Power Consumption of AMD Geode™ Processor Allows Smaller Embedded Devices
NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- El 14 de marzo de 2006 --WIN Enterprises, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of embedded controllers and platforms for OEMs, announces the IP-06060, a RoHS-compatible SBC which utilizes the AMD Geode™ LX 800@0.9W* processor. The 500 MHz processor is a low power consumer (0.9 watts) and has built-in encryption and 2-D graphics. The WIN SBC is only 5.7” x 4”, and is designed to complement the AMD Geode processor with a SATA interface, VGA/LCD capability, two 10/100 LAN ports, audio and SSD.
The AMD Geode LX 800@0.9W* processor is energy-efficient and designed for use in small computers, set-top boxes, TVs, handhelds, and consumer electronics devices. As an x86-based processor, the AMD Geode LX 800@0.9W* processor will run the vast available library of conventional software. *The AMD Geode™ LX 800@0.9W processor operates at 500 MHz.
