Leadtek Ships WinFast nForce2 Series High Performance Motherboards
Las Vegas, NV -- El 18 de noviembre de 2002 --LEADTEK Research Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of technologies for graphics cards, motherboards and communication products announced today that they will be the first to ship the new Winfast nForce2 series of high performance motherboards.
Leadtek’s relationships with AMD, and longstanding partnership with NVIDIA have given them an advantage in being the first to market with the new WinFast nForce 2 Platform motherboards. Always on the forefront of technology, Leadtek’s excellence in engineering has made the WinFast products highly renowned for their innovation, quality, performance, and reliability.
The WinFast Series of nForce2 motherboards will include the K7NCR18D, K7NCR18G and K7NCR18M all utilizing chipsets based on NVIDIA’s second generation nForce2 SSP and nForce2 MCP-T platform processors with features like AGP8X, USB 2.0, 10/100 NVIDIA Ethernet, and 3 ports IEEE1394a firewire. PRO versions of the boards will include built in NVIDIA SoundStorm Audio with Dolby Digital 5.1 Encoding, SPDIF digital output and 6-channel analogy speakers support. Integrating GeForce4 MX graphics with the new nForce2 technology will make the K7NCR18G motherboard a leader in the integrated motherboard market. Additionally, all WinFast nForce2 motherboards are equipped with the Leadtek exclusive O.T.S. (Over Temperature Shutdown) X-BIOS II feature for CPU protection, performance fine tuning, as well as support for Smart Card Readers and smart memory cards.
