Martin Booth
Martin Booth is product marketing manager, CPG Marketing, responsible for Mobile processors.

Martin has managed AMD's mobile processor marketing since 1997. Before that he was responsible for Flash Memory Card marketing with AMD's Memory Group. Prior to joining AMD in 1994, Martin was with Montgomery Securities as a semiconductor industry analyst. He has held engineering and marketing management positions for more than 10 years at companies including GO Corporation, Fujitsu Ltd. and Inmos Corporation.

Martin holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bristol University, England and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Ruth Cotter
Ruth Cotter is the investor relations manager, responsible for AMD’s shareholder base and investment community interactions.

Ruth joined AMD in 2002. Prior to joining AMD, her expertise spanned several years at CRH plc, one of the worlds largest building materials groups listed on the Irish, London and Nasdaq stock exchanges. Following that, she spent a number of years at Trintech Group plc, co-headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and California and listed on the German and Nasdaq stock exchanges.

Ruth holds a bachelor's degree in economics and history from University College, Cork, Ireland.

John Crank
John Crank is an Athlon brand manager at AMD. His responsibilities include AMD Athlon™ processor branding, messaging, positioning and planning of product launch activities.

John joined AMD in 1995 as an associate product engineer. He has also held positions as an associate design engineer with the AMD Athlon processor design team, and as a product engineer where he performed processor debug and analysis and Fab targeting. John moved to his current position with product marketing in 2000.

John holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Mark de Frere
Mark de Frere is the AMD Athlon™ brand manager at AMD. His responsibilities include AMD Athlon processor branding, messaging, positioning and planning of product launch activities.

Prior to joining AMD in 2000, Mark worked as a Business Strategist for Telecom New Zealand, the primary telecommunications company in his native country, New Zealand. He has held various strategy and consultancy positions in the telecommunications and utilities markets spanning six years.

He holds a bachelor's of commerce and administration degree in economics from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.

Aaron Feen
Aaron Feen is the director of marketing for AMD’s x86 microprocessor families in the People’s Republic of China.

Aaron began his career at AMD in 1992 as a technical sales engineer. In 1997, Aaron joined the company’s embedded processor division as the product marketing manager responsible for sales and marketing through AMD’s distributors. In 2000, he moved into the role of division marketing manager for the desktop processor division where he was responsible for market development and roadmap definition.

Aaron holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.

Mike Haase
Mike Haase is the director of investor relations for AMD. His responsibilities include managing AMD’s global relationships with shareholders and analysts.

Haase joined AMD in 2002 and has 14 years of senior investor relations experience within the technology sector. In addition, he has extensive finance and treasury experience in the technology and banking industries.

Haase received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Humboldt State University and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Southern California.

Linda Kohout
Linda Kohout is a brand manager for the AMD Duron™ processor. Linda’s responsibilities include marketing, branding and launch activities for desktop processors.

Linda began working as a technical associate for Bell Laboratories in 1986 and she became a member of technical staff in 1988. During Linda’s tenure at Bell Laboratories she was a program manager and lead electrical designer for a variety of consumer telephony products directed at European and U.S. markets. Prior to joining AMD in 2000, Linda was also a strategic business analyst at NCS Pearson where she was involved in strategic planning of e-government programs for the U.S. Department of Education.

Linda is a member of the IEEE and several engineering and business honor societies. She is an avid cyclist and a former member of the board of directors for the Central Indiana Bicycling Association (CIBA). In 1998 she received the CIBA Pinnacle award for outstanding service to CIBA and the community.

Linda holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University, a master’s in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a master’s in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Iowa.

Kevin Knox
Kevin Knox joined AMD as director of Enterprise Segment Marketing and Business Development for North America in March 2001. In this position, Kevin is responsible for AMD's marketing activities in the commercial segment as well as working with OEMs to develop strategies to target this important market.

Prior to joining AMD, Kevin served as vice president of personal and distributed technologies at the GartnerGroup research analyst firm. Kevin's client list included large enterprises, small-to-medium businesses, as well as government and educational organizations. Kevin also held IT-related management positions at Hertz and Pepsi where he was responsible for establishing hardware and software standards for desktop, laptop and servers and managing the PC supply chain.

A 14-year veteran of the information technology industry, Kevin serves as a keynote speaker at industry conventions and symposiums. He will continue this role at AMD and will help raise awareness of AMD's commercial computing solutions.

Kevin holds a bachelor's degree in Management Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Erik Salo
Erik Salo is director of Geode marketing for AMD’s PCS group. Salo has worked with the Geode™ product line for more than five years. Previously, he was director of technical marketing, applications and alliance management for National Semiconductor's Information Appliance division. He heads a team that has partnered with hundreds of customers in the design of information appliances based on the award-winning Geode processor. Under his leadership, the team has been instrumental in defining a new generation of applications for the emerging Information Appliance market.

Prior to National Semiconductor, Salo was director of engineering and program management for Tecmar Technologies Inc. and held engineering positions at Verbatim Corporation and Softsign International.

Erik Salo earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of California, San Diego.

Ben Williams
Ben Williams is director of the Server and Workstation Business Segment for AMD. In this role, Williams oversees business planning, product management and market development activities for server and workstation products in AMD’s Microprocessor Business Unit. Williams is responsible for the AMD Opteron™ and AMD Athlon™ MP processors, the AMD-8000™ series and AMD-760™ chip set product lines.

Prior to joining AMD in June 2001, Williams spent 12 years at Compaq Computer Corporation, where he focused on the enterprise market and gained extensive experience in managing all aspects of commercial product launches, customer relations, marketing and sales activities. During his tenure at Compaq, Williams was responsible for the iPAQ Internet products and Prosignia SMB line for desktop, mobile and servers within the North America market. In addition to focusing on several company marketing and partnership programs, Williams worked in the company’s Server Telecommunications Business Unit, managed Compaq’s North America commercial desktop program (Deskpro) and served as product manager for the SystemPro server line.

Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing with an emphasis in finance from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Tim Wright
Tim Wright is director of consumer segment marketing, director of embedded processor division marketing, and director of technical marketing for the computation products group.

Tim has served as director of consumer segment marketing since January of 1999. Before that he was division marketing manager for the Embedded Processor Division focused on product and market definition for AMD's E86 and 29K families of embedded processors. Tim joined AMD in September of 1992, from Andrew Corporations' Network Products Division where he held various positions including business unit manager and vice president of engineering.

Tim holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University which he received in 1979.
