In our ongoing efforts to support industry standards, AMD Phenom™ processor-based platforms may be designed to leverage industry standard DDR unbuffered DIMMs.
Memory Supported
Several AMD Phenom™ processor-based motherboards currently support some of the following memory features:
Socket AM2
- PC2-3200, PC2-4200, PC2-5300 & PC2-6400, PC2-8500 unbuffered memory modules.
- 240-pin 1.8-Volt DDR2 DIMMs.
- 128-bit DDR2 memory bus.
- Supports 128-Mbyte, 256-Mbyte, 512-Mbyte, 1-Gbyte, 2-Gbyte, 4-Gbyte and 8-Gbyte memory technology.
- Supports production DIMMs from industry standard DRAM memory manufacturers.
