Kirkham Motorsports puts American icons back on the road with the help of AMD Professional Graphics Technology.
Inspired by the exquisite craftsmanship of an old Polish fighter jet and fueled by their passion for building and restoring classic roadsters, brothers David and Thomas Kirkham founded Kirkham Motorsports more than 10 years ago with the mission to build the finest replicas in the world.
Today, Kirkham Motorsports is one of the leading manufacturers in the component car industry, specializing in building the most accurate 427 and 289 KMS/SC Cobra replicas and custom roadsters in the business, for clients including Shelby Cobra designer Carroll Shelby, race car driver Bobby Rahal, actor Larry Miller and tech mogul Larry Ellison.
“We are constantly designing, prototyping and producing new parts. The parts we manufacture simply could not have been produced without computers. Just not possible,” said Steve Kirkham, Manager, Kirkham Motorsports. “In the old days, designers made parts as progressive revisions of previous parts then they would test the new parts to failure. Then redesign. Lather, rinse, repeat. The parts we make are entirely new and we test them against computer simulations.”
