The Am29BL, 3.0 Volt-only Burst mode Flash memory family offer simple and economical Flash memory solutions for high performance embedded systems. These devices allow designers to choose a Flash memory solution that can be implemented with the most popular microcontrollers with little or no glue logic. Current densities available are the 16 and 32 Mbit versions.

The Am29BL family offers a linear Burst mode with a 32-word sequential Burst wrap-around, in a bottom boot configuration only. Initial data access requires 65 nanoseconds. Subsequent data can be accessed as fast as 17 nanoseconds. Devices are offered in 56-pin SSOP or TSOP packages.

Target markets for Burst mode Flash memory include automotive, telecom, and internetworking and other high performance systems.
