3.0 Volt Flash Memory Devices

Spansion, the market leader in the development and manufacturing of Flash memory devices, offers an extensive family of high performance, low voltage Flash memory products. All devices within the family offer a true 3.0 Volt-only solution that is ideal for battery-powered applications.

These 3.0 Volt-only devices offer the lowest energy consumption solution for a broad base of portable and power-sensitive applications. The extended low voltage operating range allows battery-powered systems to run longer between charge cycles. The Am29LV family provides an average 60 percent power savings over comparable 5.0 volt Flash products for read and write operations.

The Am29LV family is based on the same architecture as Spansion's industry standard Am29F, 5.0 Volt-only family of Flash memory products. Each device conforms to the JEDEC command set and package pinout standard established for single-power-supply Flash memory. Small form factor packaging options are provided to offer designers the cost savings of reduced board space. These new choices include 32-pin PLCC and TSOP as well as FBGA chip scale packages.
