Microprocessor DFT Engineer
Job Description Primary job responsibility is to contribute to the quality of next generation microprocessors through creation and verification of high quality manufacturing test patterns. Job responsibilities include ensuring design meets Design-for-Test (DFT) design rules/guidelines and using structured DFT, Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and Logic Built-In Self-Test (LBIST) techniques/tools to create high quality manufacturing test patterns for various fault models.
Qualifications
  • Course work should include VLSI Design, Logic Design, Reliability and Testability.
  • Experience in Projects involving digital design with Verilog/VHDL and logic simulation is highly desirable.

Microprocessor Performance Modeling Engineer
Job Description Primary job responsibility will be to carry out architectural timing simulator development, performance correlation and benchmark/workload analysis/characterization. Job responsibilities also include developing performance directed tests, interacting with microprocessor architects, RTL and microprocessor design/implementation teams to identify, resolve and document architectural performance issues.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with emphasis (course work/research) on computer architecture (high performance processor design, architectural performance modeling and analysis fields).
  • Exceptional undergrads with relevant course-work/project-experience are also eligible.
  • Experience with simulator development and performance evaluation.
  • Familiar with modeling issues and design tradeoffs in micro architecture development.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming in UNIX and/or Windows environments.

Microprocessor Design Engineer
Job Description Primary job responsibility will be to implement high performance complex processor architectures using deep sub-micron SOI processes. Job responsibilities include high frequency logic and circuit design, collaborating with physical design and process technology teams to perform design trade off and to realize area, power and performance optimized silicon implementations.
Qualifications
  • Course work should include VLSI Design, Logic Design, Computer Arithmetic, C/C++ Programming and VLSI Circuit Design.
  • Experience in Projects involving Layout design and Spice is required. Knowledge of Computer Architecture and Verilog is a plus.

Microprocessor Verification/Modeling Engineer
Job Description Primary job responsibility will be to perform architectural and functional verification at both the block and the chip levels. Job responsibilities include identifying and debugging functional anomalies, developing verification strategies, incorporating automated checkers, functional/performance directed tests, and stress tests.
Qualifications
  • Course work should include Computer Architecture and organization, Microprocessor assembly programming,
  • Multiprocessing, C++ Programming.
  • Knowledge of X86 architecture, VLSI design and Verilog is a plus.
