SUNNYVALE, CA -- June 4, 2003 --AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced it has presented the "World Class Supplier Achievement Award” to Cintas Cleanroom Resources, Matheson Tri-Gas and Solvay Interox.

AMD’s World Class Supplier Program is designed to drive leadership in technology, quality and logistics for AMD, its suppliers, and its customers. Each year AMD’s World Class Supplier teams evaluate and recognize top suppliers on multiple criteria including technology, quality, cost, flexibility, and service.

“Worldclass supplier partners enable AMD to deliver truly innovative solutions to our own customers by providing high quality materials at the lowest cost of ownership. Cintas Cleanroom Resources, Matheson Tri-Gas and Solvay Interox have all demonstrated a level of commitment, superior execution and truly outstanding performance vital to AMD’s success," said Alex Brown, vice president of Corporate Supply Management for AMD.

Cintas Cleanroom Resources, a segment of Cincinnati, Ohio-based Cintas Corporation, is a national provider of cleanroom supplies and services. AMD designated Cintas Cleanroom Resources for the award based on its performance in establishing and maintaining exceptional performance, service and value to AMD’s Fab 25 in Austin, Texas, and AMD's Submicron Development Center in Sunnyvale, California.

Matheson Tri-Gas, headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, manufactures and distributes electronic specialty gases. AMD named Matheson Tri-Gas for the award due to their exceptional performance at AMD's Fab 25 in Austin, Texas.
