New Servers to Deliver Outstanding Performance-Per-Watt and Seamless Upgradeability

San Jose, Calif. -- August 16, 2006 --ASA Computers, Inc., a customized server integrator, today announced that its new line of servers will support the Next-Generation AMD Opteron™ processor. Leveraging AMD64 technology with features like low-power/high-bandwidth DDR2 memory, support for AMD Virtualization™, and quad-core ready Socket F (1207), ASA’s new server line will offer enhanced business capabilities with planned seamless quad-core upgradeability for low total cost of ownership (TCO) benefits.

The Next-Generation AMD Opteron processor will define a new standard in performance-per-watt with energy-efficient DDR2 memory and leading-edge AMD PowerNow!™ technology capabilities. In 2007, AMD plans to offer quad-core AMD Opteron processors in the same DDR2-based platforms at the same power efficiency.
