Alienware Introduces MJ-12 8550A Workstation Loaded With Next-Generation AMD Opteron™ Processors

Available in both 1P/2-core and 2-way/4-core AMD Opteron processor configurations, the MJ-12 8550a gives professionals the speed and performance of up to four 15,000 RPM SAS hard drives and up to 16GB of memory along with the unmatched graphics capabilities of the latest NVIDIA® Quadro® and ATI FireGL™ solutions.
Powering the MJ-12 8550a, Next-Generation AMD Opteron 2000 Series processors feature Direct Connect Architecture that boasts energy-efficient DDR2 memory and AMD PowerNow!™ technology capabilities for industry-leading performance-per-watt. The MJ-12 8550a is the first AMD technology-based workstation from Alienware to feature SAS hard drives.
