AMD-K6®-2 Processor-Based HP Pavilion Home PCs Introduced in Mexico
MEXICO, D.F. -- August 17, 1998 --AMD today announced that Hewlett-Packard Company is using the AMD-K6®-2 processor with 3DNow!™ technology in its new line of HP Pavilion PCs for the home available now in retail stores in Mexico.

The new AMD-K6®-2 processor-based HP Pavilion PCs include:
HP Pavilion 6331 PC - powered by an AMD-K6®-2/300 processor with 512KB level two (L2) cache, 48 MB SDRAM, a 4 GB hard drive, a 24x CD-ROM, 56Kbps fax/data modem, and a 15-inch monitor.
HP Pavilion 6351 PC - powered by an AMD-K6®-2/333 processor with 512KB L2 cache, 64 MB SDRAM, an 8 GB hard drive, a 24x CD-ROM, 56Kbps fax/data modem, and a 15-inch monitor.
The HP Pavilion PC series includes "home-friendly" features, such as a one-touch multimedia keyboard and Polk Audio stereo speakers. The HP Pavilion PCs also feature bundled software applications, as well as the Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98 operating system pre-installed.
The new AMD-K6®-2 processor-based HP Pavilion PCs are available at the following retailers in Mexico: OfficeMax, Office Depot, Infocity, Sam's Club, Price CostCo, and LPV Ventas.
