Colfax International Announces Adoption Of Dual-Core AMD Opteron™ Processor Model 280 And Model 880
Sunnyvale, CA -- September 26, 2005 --Colfax International, a leading builder of highly customized high-performance computing systems, today announced the adoption of the newly launched Dual-Core AMD Opteron™ processor Model 280 and Model 880 with Direct Connect Architecture. Available across Colfax International’s line of thermally efficient servers and workstations, the newest AMD Opteron processors fit within platforms based on the existing 95W power infrastructure offering improved performance/watt, while also supporting AMD PowerNow!™ technology with Optimized Power Management.
