Hard Data Ltd. Announces Support For Latest AMD Opteron™ Processors



Edmonton, Alberta, Canada -- February 14, 2005 --Hard Data Ltd. today announced that its line of servers, workstations and clusters are ready to support the new AMD Opteron™ processor Models 252 & 852.

“We at Hard Data are really pleased with the direction AMD is taking with the AMD Opteron line of processors. The latest processors continue this thread with an excellent price-to-performance ratio,” said Mark Lane, sales manager, Hard Data. “Reasonably powered processors allow us to build more reliable 1U and Blade Servers. We are glad that AMD is looking at creative ways to increase performance without having to crank up the power usage.”

Hard Data’s line of AMD Opteron processor-based products span from the desktop with workstations to the server room. Specializing in High Performance Computing, Hard Data has the experience to provide quality Beowulf Cluster solutions including their recently introduced Blade configuration.
