As the first to ship products supporting x86-based simultaneous 32- and 64-bit computing, AMD64 technology ushered in a monumental yet seamless shift in the industry that enabled pervasive, mainstream x86-based 64-bit computing, and InfiniCon is pleased to be a partner in AMD’s success.

InfiniCon Systems is proud to be the principal InfiniBand technology provider in AMD’s state-of-the-art Developer Center in Sunnyvale, California. Here, software vendors and customers benchmark applications on AMD Opteron processors and InfiniCon’s InfiniBand switches prior to deployment. The AMD Developer Center enables customers to preview the tremendous benefits possible with AMD Opteron processors and InfiniCon-based clusters, which greatly increase the success of their production roll-outs.

AMD’s Developer Center is available for customers to benchmark their applications on the latest Dual-Core AMD Opteron processor-based servers clustered with the most advanced high- performance interconnect solutions from InfiniCon. Customers should contact their AMD or InfiniCon account representative to schedule access to one of AMD’s Developer Center test clusters for testing and optimization of their applications for AMD Opteron processors and InfiniBand.

The AMD Developer Center offers a hands-on or virtual opportunity to develop, test, and optimize products on the AMD Athlon™ 64 and AMD Opteron processors. The AMD Developer Center, located at AMD headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, provides on-site technical support and global virtual access to a 64-bit development environment — enabling secure, scheduled sessions onsite or from a remote location.
