FDI (Flash Data Integrator)
FDI is a software package offered by competing flash suppliers to try to emulate AMD's true simultaneous read/write family of components (Am29DLxxx). This software incorporates complex foreground/background task switching processes to provide pseudo-simultaneous operation of their Flash components.
