"Network Server Appliance Powered by AMD Processors Delivers Complete IT Functionality to Businesses"

Technology is supposed to make things easier, not more difficult. After all, companies buy information technology to enhance productivity, not immobilize operations for hours or days. Yet today, virtually every office worker has heard the bad news that “the system is down."

There is a better, simpler way to deploy and maintain a complete office IT infrastructure, according to Net Integration Technologies Inc. (NITI), a company that designs, develops and manufactures a line of “IT-in-a-box” network server appliances. This 4-year-old company of thirty, based in Toronto, Canada, has a simple mantra: “We make network computing easy.”

All Net Integrator servers are AMD processor-based, and offer several proprietary technologies that set Net Integrator apart from other servers. For example, NITI’s Net Intelligence is an artificial intelligence module that takes over the configuration of many internal subsystems and is designed to eliminate installation and maintenance complexities. Also proprietary to NITI is System-ER emergency recovery technology, a technology NITI says allows Net Integrator customers to recover their server in just 2 minutes without losing data.

“With Net Integrator, if you can read English and know how to use the Internet, you can unpack, plug-in, power-on, setup and deploy a complete and secure office IT infrastructure in minutes,” said Greg McClement, NITI’s Vice President of Strategic Business Alliance.

Some business clients are surprised to discover that 100% of Net Integration Technologies’ servers are based on AMD CPUs. “New customers occasionally ask why we offer only AMD processor-based servers,” said McClement, “However, once they get one of our servers into their hands, they understand why. With AMD CPUs, Net Integrator’s performance is exceptional.”

Net Integration Technologies is adamant that AMD Athlon™ processors are the best CPUs for their servers. “We love the speed of the front side bus,” McClement said. The speed of AMD CPUs really boosts our web and file server performance.”

When business customers combine the innovations of Net Integration Technologies with AMD CPUs, they enjoy a powerful multi-tasking server solution. “AMD processor performance allows us to execute several server processes concurrently, while simultaneously supporting the needs of multiple users, all without slowing down,” said McClement. “For example, an AMD Athlon processor based Net Integrator can concurrently be encrypting and decrypting data, compressing or uncompressing data, performing cross platform file and print services, facilitating Internet access, allowing secure remote access, providing e-mail and FTP services, performing a backup, and load-sharing and load-balancing incoming Internet traffic from separate high-speed bandwidth connections from separate service providers.”

The Net Integrator has created excitement at recent trade shows when visitors see demonstrations that show its ease-of-use, performance and reliability. "The bottom line is, we provide a tremendous package of end user benefits,” said McClement. “And AMD CPUs contribute significantly to those benefits.”

So, what’s next for Net Integration Technologies? “The technology we're building today will provide the foundation for enterprise solutions you'll see from us in the near future," said McClement. "We feel confident that these solutions will transform enterprise network computing.”

It seems AMD and Net Integration Technologies are traveling down the same road toward a bright future in the enterprise market.
