AMD-8000™ Series Chipset
Ushering in the next generation of computing platforms, AMD introduces the AMD-8000™ series of core-logic components designed to support the AMD Opteron™ processor. Implementing HyperTransport™ technology as the system backbone, these core-logic elements deliver outstanding performance and design flexibility. This chipset consists of several “building block” components that can be used together in a variety of system designs.
AMD-8151™ HyperTransport™ AGP 3.0 Tunnel
The AMD-8151™ chipset component provides AGP 3.0 capability to desktop and workstation platforms requiring high-end graphics performance. Included in the AMD-8151™ chipset component are the following high-level features:

AMD-8132™ HyperTransport™ PCI-X® 2.0 Tunnel
AMD introduces the latest edition to the AMD-8000™ Series of core-logic components for AMD Opteron™ and AMD Athlon™64 processors. Intended for Server and Workstation applications, the AMD-8132™ component brings the power of PCI-X® 2.0 and HyperTransport™ 2.0 technologies to AMD64 platforms. The high-level feature-set of this component includes the following.
Dual PCI-X® 2.0 interfaces, designed to support Mode 1 and Mode 2* (266MHz) operation
Embedded I/O APIC for each PCI-X® 2.0 Interface.
Robust internal data management and error handling capability.
*Mode 2 operation is being tested.
AMD-8131™ HyperTransport™ PCI-X 1.0 Tunnel

AMD-8111™ HyperTransport™ I/O Hub

AMD-760™ MPX Chipset
The AMD-760™ MPX chipset represents AMD's highest performance two-way multiprocessor core logic solution for the AMD Athlon™ MP processor. Intended for server and workstation class system designs, the AMD-760 MPX chipset offers MultiProcessor eXtended performance beyond its predecessor — the AMD-760™ MP chipset. This feature-rich, high-performance core logic solution consists of the AMD-762™ system controller (Northbridge) and the AMD-768™ peripheral bus controller (Southbridge).
AMD-760™ MP Chipset
The AMD-760™ MP chipset is a high performance two-way multiprocessor core logic solution for AMD Athlon™ MP processors, intended for server and workstation class system designs. This feature-rich, high-performance chipset consists of the AMD-762™ system controller (Northbridge) and the AMD-766™ peripheral bus controller (Southbridge).
AMD-760™ Chipset
The AMD-760 chipset is a highly integrated system logic solution that delivers enhanced performance for the AMD Athlon and AMD Duron processors. The AMD-760 chipset consists of the AMD-761™ system controller (Northbridge) and the AMD-766 peripheral bus controller (Southbridge).
AMD-750™ Chipset
The AMD-750™ chipset represents AMD's first-generation core-logic solution, offering high performance capability to desktop systems implementing AMD Athlon processor modules. The AMD-750 chipset consists of the AMD-751™ system controller (Northbridge) and the AMD-756™ peripheral bus controller (Southbridge).
