AMD Athlon™ 64 FX Processor Honored As 2004 “Product Of The Year” By PC World
SUNNYVALE, CA -- June 8, 2004 --AMD (NYSE:AMD) announced today that the AMD Athlon™ 64 FX processor family was honored by PC World with the 2004 World Class Award for Product of the Year. The World Class Award winners were announced in the July 2004 issue of PC World (now available online and on newsstands June 15).

Celebrating its 22nd year, PC World’s respected World Class Awards honor the best in computers, hardware, software and the Internet. To select the best of the best, PC World’s editors examined the entire spectrum of products that have appeared in or were submitted to the magazine over the past 12 months. Hundreds of products in 67 categories were judged on usability, design, innovation, features, performance and value.

The AMD Athlon 64 FX processor family, like all AMD64 processors, has the added security benefit of Enhanced Virus Protection (EVP).
