AMD’s overall population of female employees varied little from 2010 to 2011. Geographically, most regions experienced small changes with the exception of Europe/Africa which had a 13 percent increase in the female employee percentage in 2009 from 2008, largely the result of a greater number of females in non-manufacturing positions and the transfer of wafer manufacturing assets in this region.
