1. On December 21, 2005, Spansion, Inc. (Spansion) completed its Initial Purchase Offering (IPO). As of that date, Spansion was no longer a majority-owned subsidiary of AMD, and therefore, 2005 was the last year Spansion data are included as part of AMD.
On October 24, 2006, AMD acquired ATI Technologies (ATI). ATI data is included as part of AMD starting in 2007.
2. Prior to 2006, AMD included only manufacturing sites in our performance indicator reporting.
