AMD Appoints Henri Richard As Group Vice President of Worldwide Sales
SUNNYVALE, CA --

AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced the appointment of Henri Richard as group vice president of Worldwide Sales. Richard will report to Rob Herb, executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer for AMD.
“Henri Richard brings a wealth of experience from many different arenas that include the United States, European and Asian markets, OEM, Indirect and End-user channels, as well as hardware and software product segments,” said Herb. “Henri’s strong and diversified background makes him an ideal choice to lead our worldwide sales force. Immediately prior to joining AMD, Richard served as executive vice president of Worldwide Field Operations for WebGain, Inc. Previously, Richard held positions as president of the Computer Products Group at Bell Microproducts and vice president, Sales and Marketing Worldwide Distribution and E-business for the Technology Group at IBM.
