AMD Chairman and Chief Executive Officer W.J. Sanders III; President and Chief Operating Officer Hector de J. Ruiz; and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Robert J. Rivet will join New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Chairman, Dick Grosso, to ring the Opening Bell on Wednesday, April 24, 2002.

On Thursday, April 25, 2002, AMD will hold its Annual Meeting of Stockholders at the St. Regis Hotel, 2 East 55th Street, New York, New York 10022. The annual meeting will be broadcast live in its entirety via the Internet beginning at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The webcast may be accessed at www.amd.com, www.streetevents.com and www.NYSE.com
