ABIT Computer today announces multiprocessor support for the new AMD Athlon™ MP processor and the AMD-760™ MP multiprocessing chipset for one- and two-way servers and workstations. The AMD Athlon MP processor with Smart MP technology is the latest member of the AMD Athlon family processors and offers unsurpassed x86 multiprocessing capability.
ABIT is pleased to be able to provide our users with the latest in Dual CPU technology. Designed for AMD's new line of AMD Athlon MP processors with Smart MP technology, ABIT's WA-2A 760MP board is geared to not only meet the demands of our users, but to exceed them.
The ABIT WA-2A contains support for up to 4GB of registered PC2100 DDR memory, has an AGP Pro 50 graphics slot, an on-board 10/100MHz Ethernet controller and 2X 64-bit/66MHz PCI slots.
