Mitsuba Announces Line of Value Series PCs Featuring 900MHz AMD Duron™ Processor

--Mitsuba Computer Systems today announced it would offer M900, its line of Value Series systems featuring the 900MHz AMD Duron™ processor. The 900MHz AMD Duron™ processor is the new standard for value-conscious computer users who need exceptional performance at work and home.

The M900 Value Series PCs feature the UMA-based KM133 Pro chipset from VIA Technologies Inc. that support the Socket A infrastructure. The availability of Unified Memory Architecture, or UMA integrated graphics chipsets, enables Mitsuba to provide AMD Duron™ processor-based systems for the entire range of sub-$1,000 price points. UMA chipsets include the graphics-processing engine on the chipset, removing the need for a stand-alone graphics card in the PC. This integration helps to reduce costs, allowing for richer configurations in the PC.
With the M900 and the new 900MHz AMD Duron™ processor, value conscious users can take advantage of excellent performance at an affordable price. The system motherboard provides an AGP slot for future upgrade if needed. With the 200MHz Front Side Bus, Ultra/100 EIDE controller and PC-133 memory, the M900 is by all means a superb system.
