To Support The Amd Opteron™ Processor

Polywell Computers, Inc. today announced the launch of PolyRaxx 2200 to support the AMD Opteron™ processor. Polywell’s PolyRaxx 2200 is a series of AMD Opteron processor-based systems in 1U to 4U rackmount and tower configurations. Price starts at $1999.

PolyRaxx 2200 system series feature Dual AMD Opteron processors, support for up to 16GB of 333MHz Dual Channel DDR ECC Memory, on-board Dual Gigabit Ethernet, ATI VGA, S-ATA RAID and Standard IDE Controller. It runs 64-bit SuSE Linux Enterprise Server, standard 32-bit Linux, Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP Professional.
