MigraTEC Announces Support For Migration To AMD Opteron™ Processor Platform
Customers, developers to have access to 64Express in AMD Developer’s Center
MigraTEC, Inc. (OTCBB: MIGR), a leading application migration solutions provider, is collaborating with AMD to provide MigraTEC 64Express for customers using the AMD Developer Center to test and develop applications for the AMD Opteron processor platform.
MigraTEC has the only technology on the market today that automates the migration of C/C++ code from 32- to 64-bits, simplifying the development and testing process, and saving companies time and resources.
“While AMD64 technology helps ensure native 32- and 64-bit compatibility on AMD Opteron processors, many customers will demand the full benefits of this powerful computing platform and migrate their software to 64 bits,” said Wes Blair, senior vice president of sales, marketing and delivery, MigraTEC. “We have been working with AMD for more than a year to create and tune our 64Express to the AMD Opteron processor platform. Being a part of the AMD Developer Center will give MigraTEC significant exposure to customers requiring enterprise-class migration tools.”
“AMD’s customers can look to MigraTEC to quickly and efficiently migrate C/C++ code from 32- to 64-bits, enabling customers to recognize the power and performance of 64-bit applications,” said Rich Heye, vice president and general manager of AMD’s Microprocessor Business Unit.
