Kingston Technology Company, Inc. today announced the limited availability of DDR400 (PC3200) registered memory modules for system builders and PC enthusiasts. The Kingston® HyperX® DDR400 registered DIMMs are designed for use on motherboards supporting AMD Athlon™ 64 FX processors.

As with all its products, Kingston has undergone multiple levels of rigorous testing to launch the DDR400 registered memory modules. The memory modules have also been tested on currently available platforms such as the ASUS® SK8N motherboard, which features full support of DDR400 registered memory technology. As a result, Kingston has begun shipping limited quantities of 1GB memory kits to prepare system builders for their shipments of AMD Athlon 64 processor-based FX systems.
