The Appro 4145H is designed to address the needs of high-performance, high-availability server and workstation users. This quad AMD Opteron processor-based server delivers high compute performance with expandable storage capability; PCI-X and AGP 8X slots support providing performance and capability for high-end graphic simulations. This server is ideal for compute-intensive graphics application such as mechanical and engineering graphics simulation and rendering, scientific visualization, digital content creation and more.
Appro 4145H Key Features:
Up to four AMD Opteron processors, simultaneous 32-bit and 64-bit computing capability, HyperTransport™ technology, up to 64GB of DDR memory in 16 DIMM Slots, PCI-X and 8x AGP slot support for advanced graphics cards, 4 hot-swappable HDDs – IDE or SCSI hard disks, a 5.25” drive bay for tape devices, remote server management capabilities, choice of Windows or Linux operating systems.

Appro will demonstrate the Appro HyperBlade Cluster Solution based on AMD Opteron Processors utilizing Redhat Enterprise Linux operating system running Oracle 10g RAC on a Topspin Communications' Infiniband network connected with EqualLogic iSCSI SAN storage system. Also, Appro will demonstrate the Appro BladeDome Cluster Management Solution designed exclusively for the Appro HyperBlade Cluster to deliver a cost-effective and simple management solution to system administrators. Along with this demonstration, Appro will showcase its brand new Appro 4145H quad AMD Opteron processor-based server.
