AMD and Gateway Unveil Combined Solutions

Nine Of The Top 10 Worldwide PC Vendors Ship Systems Based On AMD-K6®-2 Processors

AUSTIN, TX -- 2/26/1999 -- AMD and Gateway™ today unveiled new combined product solutions available through Gateway retail or direct channels. As Gateway expands its product line it may incorporate the AMD-K6®-2 processors in a variety of new Gateway systems.

The Gateway Select line, comprised of PCs manufactured for consumers, incorporates the AMD-K6-2 processor at speeds of 450, 400 and 366 MHz (Megahertz).
