Celestica And Tech Data Sign Distribution Agreement

Tech Data to Distribute Celestica’s Server Solutions

Toronto, Ontario -- 4/28/2004 -- Celestica Inc. (NYSE, TSX: CLS), a world leader in electronics manufacturing services (EMS), and Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD), have signed a distribution agreement for Celestica’s server solutions. Under the agreement, Tech Data will distribute Celestica’s server solutions to the system builder and system integrator communities.

Celestica, together with AMD, has created the Validated Server Program (VSP) in order to provide system builders with white box server solutions that deliver quality, performance and reliability, along with end-to-end service and support. Through this program, Celestica provides AMD Opteron™ processor-based server solutions that offer the power and performance of dual 32- and 64-bit AMD Opteron processors in a convenient 2P 1U, and highly flexible 4P 4U height package.

These server solutions are scalable and configurable to satisfy demanding requirements for processing, storage and networking. Extensive software and hardware compatibility testing has been completed to provide trouble-free deployment and operation.

By purchasing Celestica’s server solutions through distribution, resellers will reap the benefits of Tech Data’s extensive service offering which includes pre-sales and post-sales training and technical support, financing options, configuration services, and a full range of electronic commerce solutions.
