Insyde Software Readies Worldwide Support for New AMD Geode™ Processor Development Platforms

TAIPEI, TAIWAN and SOUTHBOROUGH, MA -- 2/14/2005 -- Insyde Software, a leading provider of system software, BIOS, and engineering services, today announced the availability of its XpressROM™ BIOS and software support services for two new AMD (NYSE:AMD) Geode™ processor development boards. Insyde Software has engineering and project management teams in the U.S. and Taiwan dedicated to helping AMD Geode device manufacturers meet critical firmware requirements and product shipment schedules.

Earlier today, AMD announced availability of the AMD Geode DBSC1100 and AMD Geode DBSC1200 development boards. Targeted at embedded and industrial computing devices, these new platforms provide a computer-on-module design offering ultimate design flexibility, low-power and high-performance in a small industry-standard form factor.
